What is the dress code? To explain the meaning of this concept, one should go back to the 1950s, to the exact moment when American scientists working at the University of Texas conducted a study on a group of men. A simple experiment proved that clothing greatly changes people's attitudes. Today, the term dress code is most simply translated as a specific way of dressing, adequate to a given circumstance. It should be remembered that the dress code depends not only on the occasion or type of work, but also on factors such as the state, culture and religion. The most popular example is the dress code for the office. It should also be mentioned that in some companies the dress code is an element of the image strategy - that is why bank employees often wear clothes that refer to the company's logos in terms of colors. An excellent example are also policemen and firefighters, whom we always associate with characteristic uniforms. Such a comparison perfectly shows that the dress code does not always look the same. Meet its types! Dress code types Casual - the most convenient solution that accepts informal solutions such as jeans or sneakers. It is important that the outfit is not too skimpy. Business - a style characterized by elegant and stylish solutions. For men, the basis is a dark suit and tie, and a light shirt. Ladies wear dresses or costumes, elegant skirts or trousers, combined with a shirt. Black tie - the type that relates to evening wear. As you probably guessed, tuxedos or long prom dresses appear here. White tie - this is an even more formal dress code. The difference, however, is very simple. The "black tie" is a black tuxedo, an elegant white tuxedo shirt, and a black bow tie. A "white tie" means that you must wear a tailcoat, a white bow tie and a white vest.
